Supporting and helping the communities where we work and the people who work with, and for us, matters to QSC.
Here we share some of the great things our team, customers and community partners have been doing.
QSC SPONSORED SPONDON DYNAMOS AT ST. GEORGES PARK
Spondon Dynamos, the under 9s football team sponsored by QSC, recently had the opportunity to visit and play at St. Georges.
Set in the National Forest, in 330 acres of landscaped parkland, the centre is the training base for the England team.
QSC’s Phil Tomkinson, who coaches the under 9s squad, comments: “This was a great opportunity for the team, who received coaching by qualified FA coaches as part of the visit. I am currently taking a level one FA coaching badge myself, so it was also good for me to see how the professionals do it. I learned a lot and I know the team did too."
QSC SPONSORED TEE AND TEA
QSC was once again proud to sponsor the 9th hole prize and refreshments at the annual Land Rover Golf Championship. This year, the competition took place at the Redditch Golf Club on Saturday 20th July 2013. Well done to all those who took part.
QSC PARTNERS DERBYSHIRE COUNTY CRICKET CLUB
In these economically challenging times, many businesses have been thinking creatively of ways to procure the services they need and that’s certainly true of QSC and Derbyshire County Cricket Club (DCCC).
When DCCC needed a safety support team and QSC the opportunity to raise their profile with local businesses across Derbyshire the two organisations managed to strike a deal that had mutual benefits.
Now DCCC can relax in the knowledge their safety administration is in good hands, whilst QSC enjoy, amongst other things, supporting their sponsored cricketer Jon Clare.
SUPPORT FOR LOCAL FOOTBALL TEAM
When QSC Managing Director Shane Moore heard of a local football team who didn’t have a kit to play in, he stepped in and offered to support the boys. Now as you can see from this photo, they are proudly sporting their new kit and hopefully, judging by the medals in the picture, the new stripe is bringing them success on the field too!
WELL DONE GEMMA-LOUISE
QSC employee Lisa Grinham is proud to report that her daughter Gemma-Louise and friend Tasha, successfully completed the Free Radio Walk for Kids, raised £500 between them.
The Free Radio Walk for Kids’ is a series of charity walks across the West Midlands, aimed at raising funds for local children’s charities.
The walks will support West Midlands based charities including Acorns Children’s Hospice, the neonatal ward at Russell’s Hall Hospital and the Children’s Emergency Department at University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire. On behalf of Lisa, we would like to thank everyone who kindly supported Gemma-Louise with a donation for this walk.
